Budapest, Hungary 0

Posted by Julian Cohen

We are nearing the end of the summer holidays and it is almost time for the kids to go back to school in Abu Dhabi, but before we head back to the sand we are finishing the trip in Hungary to see Ildi’s mother, their great-grandmother, and the rest of the Hungarian family.

The weather has been quite rainy and on the second day we got caught in a storm that flooded out most of Budapest. We were absolutely saturated. The kids loved it, Ildi didn’t. We have been eating lots of grandma’s cooking, cakes from the local shop and all the favourite Hungarian dishes at the restaurants close to the hotel. After six weeks with the kids I am amazingly not completely frazzled, although I do feel like a boxing referee most of the time.

I’m doing a lot of traveling and diving this year and enjoying every minute of it.
